Abstract

In this paper, a quality model for evaluation of Business-to-Business (B2B) e-commerce applications is presented. Having in mind the above-mentioned goal, we first study the software quality models available so far for choosing a model as the basis. Then, considering the fact that the characteristics of the base model seems to be too general and broad, we will try to improve this model. At first, using the quality factors of web applications and through referring to the quality characteristics of the existing B2B applications, the quality characteristics of B2B applications are added to the proposed model. Then after, we will determine the weight of each quality characteristic of the model from the both viewpoints of the developer and the user. At the last phase, another dimension will be added to the model for determining environment infrastructure. Finally, the proposed model will be evaluated by metrics method.
